Legal Specialist

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Legal Specialist position. This is a temporary opportunity in Framingham, MA.

This position requires candidates to have a law degree and experience in HR, employment law, immigration law, or related fields. Alternatively, if you are a Paralegal with 5-6 years of experience. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required. If you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now!

Responsibilities for a Legal Specialist include but are not limited to:

  • Support administration of I-9 forms, E-Verify, and related immigration issues.

  • Direct subpoenas and external requests for information to the proper departments.

  • Facilitate communication with state labor agencies.

  • Conduct research on a variety of employment topics such as wage and hour laws, minor labor laws, ADA, criminal code, etc.

  • Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Law degree required, or equivalent experience as a Paralegal (5-6 years)

  • Direct experience in HR, employment law, immigration law, or related with a government agency is preferred, but not required.

  • Able to communicate legal or complex information to a lay audience.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (including formatting, editing, sorting).

Pay Details: $37.46 per hour
