Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in a K-12 school located approximately 20 minutes outside of Boston, MA. This is a contract role covering a maternity leave, with an expected start date around March 26 through June 12. Extended School Year (ESY) work may also be available for interested candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students, supporting their developmental and educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assess student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and K-12 education environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work full-time hours during the contract period
