Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Dynamic professionals are sought to provide specialized occupational therapy services within a supportive K-12 educational environment located in Cambridge, MA. This full-time, onsite position is designed for an experienced therapist ready to make a meaningful impact on students' lives from late October 2024 to August 2025.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of three years of experience working with school-aged children
- Proven ability to develop individual plans and goals tailored to student needs
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate professional relationships with staff and parents
Location:
- Cambridge, MA (with multiple locations across the district)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Conduct evaluations to determine student eligibility for services
- Provide guidance to parents and staff regarding therapy and student progress
