Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing occupational therapy services across multiple grade levels in a K-12 school setting, this role offers the opportunity to support student development and enhance functional skills within educational environments. The position is based in Portsmouth, NH, and is a full-time contract commitment for the current school year, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services 3.5 days per week in preschool and 1.5 days per week in the high school, totaling a full five-day workweek. The practitioner will collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to implement individualized treatment plans, support student engagement, and promote academic success.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience working in school-based occupational therapy, preferably with K-12 populations
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions appropriate for preschool and high school students
  • Ability to manage direct therapy caseloads efficiently, including evaluation, treatment, and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Current licensure and certifications required for practice in New Hampshire
