Stable Healthcare company is seeking a Medical Front Desk Coordinator.
Location: Weisgarber, Oakridge, Maryville, UT, and Sevierville
Must have 1-2 years medical office expereince.
Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and be on a rotation for weekends
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for managing front office operations, including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, handling phone calls, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients, ensuring accurate collection of personal, medical, and insurance information.

Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients and staff.

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments in alignment with provider availability.

Collect copayments and balances, process payments, and provide receipts.

Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.

Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Prepare and update patient charts, forms, and documentation.

Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, faxing, and handling correspondence.

Assist with patient check-out, follow-up appointments, and referrals.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or medical office training preferred).

Previous experience in a medical office, front desk, or customer service role strongly preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and electronic health record (EHR) systems a plus.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Proficient with computers, scheduling systems, and basic office equipment.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment:
