Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent large trauma level 1 and Epic experience, able to both circulate and scrub.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital setting
- Care for a variety of surgical patients, including ortho, urology, oncology, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma cases
- Experience with Da Vinci Robotics required
- Shift is 12-hour rotating, with flexibility for weekends and call
- Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
- No block scheduling is permitted
- Strong general operating room experience with proficiency in multiple surgical specialties is required
- Must have reliable transportation as public transit is not accessible; personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires from November to April
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions are available on Mondays
- Holiday coverage and flexibility with scheduling are required

- Active RN license required; Vermont or compact state accepted, or proof of pending NY license
- Must have at least 2 years of operating room experience
- Prior large trauma level 1 hospital experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Experience with Epic EMR within the past 2 years is required
- Must have both circulate and scrub skills
- Skill checklist for both circulating and scrubbing required for consideration
