• Shift Options: Days or Nights

• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts

Job Overview

A acute care facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Travel RN to join their clinical team. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry, IV, and phlebotomy skills and the ability to deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process

• Monitor patients on telemetry and promptly respond to changes in condition or emergencies

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy independently

• Administer medications safely and document accurately per facility policy

• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience

• Active Massachusetts RN license

• BLS certification (AHA)

• Ability to perform own IV starts and phlebotomy

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience

• Experience working in a telemetry-focused inpatient unit
