A K-12 educational institution in Derry, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse with school nursing experience to provide full-semester coverage. This contract position is ideal for an RN skilled in delivering healthcare services within an elementary school setting.
Responsibilities include managing the health and wellness of students, administering medications, providing first aid, and collaborating with school staff to support student health plans. The nurse will also oversee daily health screenings and respond to emergencies while maintaining accurate documentation in pliance with health regulations.
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license with school nursing experience
- Ability to manage health assessments and emergency care in an educational environment
- Strong munication skills to liaise with students, parents, and staff
- Experience working with children in K-12 settings preferred
Location: Derry, NH
Position Duration: Full semester contract covering a maternity leave through the Christmas break
Hours: 7:15 AM 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday
