Job Description

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in a public school setting. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting students with moderate to severe behavioral needs in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Location:

Florence, MA (Elementary School)

Responsibilities:

Implement behavior intervention plans that support social, emotional, and academic growth for students with moderate to severe needs.
Monitor and record student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as necessary.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create positive learning environments.
Deliver direct services to students while maintaining compliance with individual education plans (IEPs).
Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for behavioral supports.

Qualifications:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required.
Experience working with K-3 students in a school setting preferred.
Ability to manage caseloads involving moderate to severe behavioral challenges.
Willingness to work under onsite or virtual supervision as needed.
Strong communication and collaborative skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and families.

Additional Details:

Full-time hours.
Contract position for the current school year.
School district provides supervision options, including virtual supervision.
