Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in a public school setting. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting students with moderate to severe behavioral needs in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Location:

  • Florence, MA (Elementary School)

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans that support social, emotional, and academic growth for students with moderate to severe needs.
  • Monitor and record student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create positive learning environments.
  • Deliver direct services to students while maintaining compliance with individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for behavioral supports.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required.
  • Experience working with K-3 students in a school setting preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseloads involving moderate to severe behavioral challenges.
  • Willingness to work under onsite or virtual supervision as needed.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and families.
