Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position offers a specialized opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services at a high school setting focused on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The role is part of the Compass High Program, designed to offer personalized education beyond traditional classroom environments to foster independence and skill development.

Location: Ludlow, MA
Assignment Duration: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027 (estimated, 26/27 school year calendar pending)
Hours per Week: 32.5
Caseload: High school students, with supervision of an SLPA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy tailored to students with ASD and varied learning needs
  • Collaborate within a specialized program to create individualized goals supporting students communication and independence
  • Provide supervision and guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with state educational requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC)
  • State licensure and eligibility to provide school-based services
  • Experience working with high school students, preferably within special education or ASD programs
  • Strong ability to collaborate and supervise paraprofessionals
