- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/21/2026 – End: 4/22/2026)\n
- Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool\n
- Nursing Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 – 07:15)\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required (must work a major holiday)\n
- Self-scheduling: Available with manager approval\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand\n
- Minimum 18 months of recent acute care experience\n
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse\n
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications\n
- Epic charting system experience required\n
- Telemetry nursing experience required\n
- Must pass a telemetry competency exam during orientation (passing score: 80%)\n
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)\n
- Preferred: Experience with cardiac drips (no titration required)\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n

- Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed\n
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with thoracic, bariatric, colo-rectal, orthopedic, urology, and GYN surgical needs\n
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and perform telemetry monitoring\n
- Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting\n
- Perform specialized nursing skills such as chest tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, and PCA administration\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care\n
- Adhere to all facility policies, including compliance and orientation modules\n
