Job Type: Permanent | Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Are you a seasoned quality leader ready to take ownership of a cutting-edge manufacturing site? We’re seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee all site-level quality and food safety operations at our Massachusetts facility, where we specialize in producing high-value annatto-derived ingredients through advanced distillation processes.
🌟 What You’ll Own
- Champion a culture of quality and food safety across all departments
- Oversee the Food Safety & Quality Management System (FSQMS) including SOPs, training, and document control
- Lead GMP, HACCP, and Food Defense training programs
- Approve production batch records and manage nonconformities, deviations, and CAPAs
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints with precision and urgency
- Oversee QA activities in the warehouse: receiving, sampling, repacking, and storage
- Ensure FSVP compliance and supplier quality management
🧠 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive QA experience in food, dietary supplements, or ingredient manufacturing
- Deep knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR 117 and 111)
- PCQI certification and hands-on experience with product release and production record review
- Expertise in supplier quality, co-manufacturer oversight, and regulatory audits
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
