Job Description
Join the Ockers Team — Where Innovation Meets Hands-On Leadership
Ockers designs and delivers cutting-edge audiovisual and technology integration solutions for schools, businesses, and government organizations. Our installations bring ideas to life, creating smarter classrooms, dynamic workplaces, and connected communities.
We’re seeking a Director of Project Management to lead our project delivery organization and drive excellence across performance, profitability, resource strategy, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership and portfolio-level oversight of all technology integration and AV installation projects.
- Own company-wide project delivery performance — timelines, budgets, margins, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and continuously improve project management processes, best practices, and governance standards.
- Oversee project assignments, staffing, and organizational capacity planning.
- Partner with Finance on portfolio financials: forecasting, margin analysis, budgeting, revenue recognition, and long-range planning.
- Serve as executive escalation point for critical project, client, and operational issues.
- Lead and develop Project Managers, Senior PMs, and other leaders across the project organization.
- Represent Ockers in key client meetings and oversee strategic, high-visibility projects as needed.
What You Bring
- 8–12+ years of project management experience, including leadership of teams and complex portfolios.
- Strong communication skills, executive presence, and a strategic mindset.
- Expertise in resource and financial management, risk mitigation, and project governance.
- Experience with technical drawings, AV systems, and installation documentation.
- PMP/CAPM preferred; valid driver’s license required.
Why You’ll Love Working at Ockers
- See Your Impact: Shape how projects are delivered across the entire organization.
- Grow Your Career: Pathways into senior leadership
- Dynamic Environment: Every project brings new challenges, new technologies, and new client partnerships.
- Supportive Team Culture: Team-first, quality-driven, and committed to ongoing improvement.
- Competitive Pay & Benefits: Earn between $115,000 and $145,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, along with travel stipends, per diem, and paid lodging for overnight assignments.
