Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate imaging requisitions, perform diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensure patient identification and safety.
- Assess and support patients’ physical and emotional needs, providing clear explanations about exams and radiation exposure while practicing ALARA principles.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions to maintain proper functioning of imaging devices.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining daily departmental operations.
- Complete accurate documentation, comply with hospital policies and regulations, participate in meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development.
Minimum Qualifications\n\nEducation\nAn Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required.\n\nLicense/Certification\nMA Radiographer license and ARRT certification is required
