Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join a small law firm in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. This part-time, onsite role offers approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. As a Contract position with potential for long-term engagement, this opportunity allows you to contribute to the firm while exploring future possibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and type legal documents, correspondence, and reports based on dictation.
• Manage both electronic and physical filing systems to ensure organization and accessibility.
• Handle court filings and e-filing processes efficiently.
• Maintain and update the firm's calendar, including scheduling appointments and tracking deadlines.
• Draft and proofread legal documents with attention to detail.
• Provide administrative support to the attorney, assisting with daily tasks and office management.
• Coordinate communication within the office and with external parties.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive legal information.• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a legal setting.
• Proficient typing skills and the ability to handle dictation tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with e-filing and court filing procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for managing filing systems and calendars.
• Tech-savvy with experience using office software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread legal documents.
• Ability to work independently in a small office environment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and legal professionals.
