This contract opportunity is for an experienced Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist based in Brockton, MA, with an assignment at an off-site location in Lynn, MA. The role involves supporting the Radiology CT Scanner unit at a medical village facility, providing vital diagnostic imaging services within a structured 4-day 10-hour shift schedule from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities include operating and maintaining advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and collaborating closely with nursing and radiology teams to deliver high-quality patient care. The technologist may also assist with emergency response and management while adhering to facility protocols and documentation standards using electronic medical records.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Interventional Radiology imaging techniques
- At least 3 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, with 1 year in critical care preferred, for cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Proficiency in IV placement and emergency response skills
- Accredited nursing education; Bachelors degree preferred
- Valid Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Ability to maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:2 and manage a census of 1-2 patients
- Commitment to working consistent day shifts without floating or rotating schedules
