Key Responsibilities:
- Decipher intricate drawings, applying knowledge of welding symbols.
- Perform standard setups and maintain operational settings, consulting when necessary.
- Engage with engineers to develop welding schedules.
- Ensure quality and productivity through machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Inspect using micrometers, verniers, ensuring weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
- Implement SPC techniques for quality checks.
- Provide assistance and training to colleagues.
- Manage labor transactions via basic computer skills.
Supporting Activities
- Undertake assigned tasks as needed.
- Maintain essential records, report issues, and ensure a tidy, secure work area.
- Participate in collaborative improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to Quality and Environmental Health & Safety standards.
Requirements:
Experience: 5 years in manufacturing accounting with a strong foundation in financial analysis and inventory management.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
