Job Description
The Imaging Supervisor (locally referred to as Radiology Supervisor) plays a key leadership role in overseeing the radiology team while also maintaining clinical responsibilities as needed (covering vacations, call-outs, etc.). This role includes staff supervision, workflow delegation, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex tests across General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS.
- Organize shift workload, delegate tasks, and supervise staff scheduling.
- Act as liaison between radiology staff and the Radiology Director.
- Maintain quality control and make decisions on equipment and procedural standards.
- Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and coordinate departmental staffing needs.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Certificate and/or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT(R) certification plus additional certification in either CT or Mammography
- Eligibility for radiologic technologist licensure in Vermont
- Five years of radiology experience
- One year of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-To-Haves)
- Supervisory experience in a union setting
- ARRT certification in CT, Mammography, and Radiography
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Experience with Visage PACS system
