This position focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students from Pre-K through 6th grade, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist License
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting
- Familiarity with standard school SLP duties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide diagnosis for students' speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions to diverse student populations
