A dynamic opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact within an elementary school setting. This position focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students from Pre-K through 6th grade, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting
  • Familiarity with standard school SLP duties
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide diagnosis for students' speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations to monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
  • Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions to diverse student populations
