Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a current MA RN license and AHA certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Scheduled 36 hours per week, 3x12hr night shifts from 7:15pm to 7:15am
- Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for standard travel rate eligibility
- Rotating holiday and every other weekend schedule is mandatory
- Parking may involve daily costs with no validated parking available; public transportation and parking lots are options
- References required for consideration
- Timekeeping is managed with UKG/Kronos system
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active, unencumbered MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Current AHA-issued certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Primary source verification of nursing license via NURSYS and BON required prior to consideration
- No minimum years of experience specified
- Proof of flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
