Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team in Lexington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will focus on analyzing healthcare data, extracting insights, and generating reports to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare data standards and possess advanced technical expertise in database management and reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain advanced reports using tools and databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinicians and executives, to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ensure data compliance and privacy by adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and other relevant standards.
• Work with electronic health records (EHR) platforms like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech to extract and analyze data.
• Utilize advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables, charts, and formulas, to organize and present data effectively.
• Manage extract, transform, load (ETL) processes to support data pipelines and warehouses.
• Contribute to projects using Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies for efficient data management and reporting.
• Analyze claims and billing data from Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers to optimize financial reporting.
• Stay updated on healthcare quality measures and coding systems such as ICD-10 and CPT to ensure accurate data analysis.• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience analyzing healthcare data.
• Advanced knowledge of database management and reporting tools such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, including ICD-10, CPT, and HL7 coding systems.
• Proficiency in using EHR platforms like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Expertise in advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with data compliance regulations, including HIPAA and other healthcare-related privacy standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
