Cape Cod Café — home of the original bar pizza — is looking for friendly, reliable Takeout Counter staff to join our Brockton team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love helping customers, and want to be part of a local institution, this is a great opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Take food and beverage orders in person and over the phone
- Ensure all orders are accurate, properly packed, and prepared to spec
- Handle payments with accuracy and cash out with the manager
- Communicate with the kitchen to provide accurate quote times
- Keep the takeout area clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Answer customer questions, make menu suggestions, and provide friendly service
- Report any food or service concerns to the manager
Daytime, Evening & Weekend Shifts Available
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 year of experience preferred (we’re happy to train the right person)
- Allergen Awareness Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Team-oriented mindset and comfort in a fast-paced environment
