Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in early childhood education. This position is based in Derry, NH, at an early childhood school and offers a contract role lasting for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for young children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication needs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working with early childhood populations in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
