This opportunity seeks an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care to provide high-quality patient support in a dynamic setting. The position is based in Cambridge, MA, offering a contract assignment that invites professionals ready to contribute their skills in a fast-paced environment serving diverse patient needs, including pediatric care.
Responsibilities include delivering acute clinical care across a 41-bed private exam and accelerated care unit, managing fast track operations, and supporting a significant daily patient volume. The nurse will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure effective treatment plans, including pediatric patients as part of the care ratio.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room nursing
- Demonstrated travel nursing experience preferred
- Pediatric emergency nursing experience and comfort working with children
- Certifications required at submission: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse 6 EMR preferred but not required
- Professional references from charge or manager RNs in emergency nursing
Schedule:
- Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Orientation dates available on specified November and December days
