Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for a leave replacement position at an elementary school in Lowell, MA. This contract role will span the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 25th. The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings with a diverse K-12 student population, including both general and special education.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current School SLP certification preferred
- Experience providing therapy services across K-12 grade levels
- Familiarity with educational mandates and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
Location:
- Elementary school located in Lowell, Massachusetts
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Support students in general and special education classrooms through direct intervention and consultative services
