Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a high-risk, academic hospital setting requiring recent Epic experience and a VT or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Labor & Delivery unit in a large academic hospital setting
- High-risk L&D patient population
- 12-hour night shifts with flexibility required for occasional day shifts to cover scheduling or vacations
- Every weekend is required
- 16-week assignment
- Use of Epic EMR system, recent experience within the past two years is required
- No block scheduling allowed
- Personal transportation is necessary as public transportation is not accessible in this area
- All-season or snow tires are recommended from November through April
- Care for high-risk laboring patients in a team-oriented environment
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing scheduling needs
- Bi-weekly orientations available, with the next orientation on 12/15
- Candidates must live outside the local radius to be eligible for travel rate
- Vehicles must be properly equipped for winter weather during applicable months

- Active VT or compact RN license is required
- Minimum of two years' recent experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery in a similar large academic setting
- Epic EMR experience from within the past two years is mandatory
- Consideration for first-time travelers with strong relevant experience
- Reliable personal vehicle or rental is required due to lack of public transit
