Automotive Repair Diagnostician
Pay: $32.00 - $43.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:
Angie’s Service, Inc. is a well-established, family-owned automotive repair shop serving the Newbury community for over 30 years. We’re known for our honest service, loyal customer base, and commitment to quality. We’re looking for a skilled Automotive Repair Diagnostician to join our team and help us continue delivering top-tier service.
- Diagnose complex issues in domestic and foreign vehicles using advanced tools and software.
- Interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and vehicle data to identify root causes.
- Perform test drives and inspections to replicate and assess customer concerns.
- Recommend and assist with repairs and maintenance based on diagnostic findings.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and occasionally with customers.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and diagnostic techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
12+ years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, not transitioning as a diagnostician from an Automotive Dealer.
Proficiency with OEM-level scan tools, lab scopes, and other equipment to pinpoint root causes.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and emissions.
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
