Mace Machine is a precision CNC manufacturer specializing in complex, tight-tolerance parts for our nation's defense. We are seeking an experienced Swiss-style CNC Programmer/Machinist to take a leading role in production, continuous improvement, and workforce development as we expand our capabilities.
\nWhat You’ll Do\n

Program, set up, and operate Citizen L20/L32/A20 Swiss-type lathes for precision, small-diameter components.
\n
- \n
Lead and mentor operators and apprentices to strengthen team capability and efficiency.
\n
- \n
Drive continuous improvement projects in setup reduction, tool life management, process documentation, and workflow optimization.
\n
- \n
Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure conformance to AS9100 and defense manufacturing standards.
\n
- \n
Participate in training and process standardization initiatives that elevate the entire shop’s performance.
\n

\nWhat We’re Looking For\n
- \n

Minimum 5 years’ experience programming and setting up Citizen, Star, or Tsugami Swiss machines.
\n
- \n
Proven supervisory or lead machinist experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
\n
- \n
Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, offsets, and process optimization.
\n
- \n
Comfort working from engineering drawings and military specifications.
\n
- \n
A hands-on leader with a passion for mentorship, precision, and progress.
