Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Job Type: Contract – Full-time
Duration: 13 Weeks

Travel Rate: $1,337.50/week

Schedule

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Shifts: Evening / Night

    • Evening: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    • Night: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

  • Weekends & Holidays: Rotating

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Diagnostic Technician – Phlebotomist to support patient care in a fast-paced clinical and laboratory environment in Hyannis, MA. This role involves specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing, including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach while collaborating with clinical and laboratory teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood and other specimens, accurately identify patients, and transport samples to the laboratory

  • Perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, including EKGs, Holter monitor setup, and stress tests, following established protocols

  • Document procedures and results in hospital information systems

  • Review test requests and communicate order updates as needed

  • Assist with training staff or students when required

  • Manage inventory, PPE supplies, and troubleshoot specimen collection issues

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment while delivering excellent patient care and customer service

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course or equivalent knowledge

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

  • Eligibility for PBT (ASCP) Certification

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an acute care hospital setting
