Job DescriptionDirect Hire CNC Milling Machinist

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines with a focus on precision and repeatability.
  • Run multiple milling machines concurrently to meet production goals.
  • Dial in offsets and perform tool changes to maintain part quality.
  • Load horizontal mills and periodically attend to bar fed lathes as needed.
  • Use measurement instruments—including height gauges and hand gauges—to verify dimensions.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings to plan and execute operations.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in peak condition.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
  • Background running vertical mills.
  • Proven ability to run multiple machines at once.
  • Comfort making offsets and changing cutting tools on the fly.
  • Strong multitasking skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience using hand and height gauges for inspection.
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings; exposure to loading horizontal mills and attending to bar fed lathes is a plus.

Schedule & Pay

  • Workday: 8–9 hours/day with a flexible start between 7–8 AM.
  • Fridays: The team typically wraps up by noon.
  • Compensation: Up to $28/hour based on experience.
