Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings, supporting K-12 students. This contract position is located in Plymouth, NH, with an ASAP start date and runs throughout the current school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their educational and developmental needs.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions tailored to student strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote inclusive learning environments and address student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings related to student progress and therapy planning.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials to provide school-based therapy services.
- Experience working within K-12 school settings, supporting children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of educational environments and the role of occupational therapy in school success.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized plans based on evaluations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
