Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a leave of absence position in an elementary setting located in Chicopee, MA. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language support to students from kindergarten through 4th grade in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students in a variety of settings, including small groups, one-on-one, and inclusion classrooms.
- Conduct evaluations to determine IEP eligibility.
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams.
- Monitor and document student progress towards speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist credentials.
- CCC-SLP certification preferred.
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings.
- Strong skills in evaluation, goal writing, and progress documentation.
- Ability to effectively engage young students in a classroom environment.

- Hours: Approximately 17 hours per week
