Med-Surg Tele RN – \nFacility: 122-bed Teaching Hospital | Trauma Level III\n\nUnit: Acute Med-Surg w/ Tele | 51 beds\n\nStart: Within 2 weeks (license on file at submission)\n\nExperience:\n\n5 yrs Med-Surg Tele or 3 yrs Tele required\n\nPrior travel required (2 assignments at 300+ bed hospitals or prior UVMHN acute care)\n\nEpic experience (within last 2 yrs) – nonnegotiable\n\nCerts: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start) | Tele cert preferred\n\nRatios: Days 3–5 | Nights 4–6 | LNAs 1:8–10\n\nSchedule: 12-hr shifts | Every other weekend | No call | No block scheduling\n\nSkills: Tele application & interpretation, NG tubes, peripheral IVs\n\nEMR/Systems: Epic | Pyxis\n\nFloat: Infrequent, to like units\n\nPatient Mix: Tele, post-op ortho/urology/GI, COPD, CHF, diabetes, EOL, dementia (adults)\n\nSupport: RT & Anesthesia 24/7 | Free charge nurse | Free parking\n\nRates: Travel $100 | 51–100 mi $95 | ≤50 mi $90 (straight-line distance)\n\nNotes: Reliable vehicle required (no public transit); snow tires Nov–Apr
