A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide medical leave coverage from October 26 through December 22 at an educational setting serving students from kindergarten through 3rd grade. This role focuses on delivering essential speech and language support to a caseload of approximately 26 students within one school site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-3rd grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students' communication goals
- Complete necessary documentation and report writing, with designated time allotted on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Maintain professional standards in providing therapeutic services during full-time hours
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State certification or licensure for school-based SLP practice
- Experience working with early elementary aged children is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team
Location: East Falmouth, Massachusetts
Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM; additional time on Tuesdays and Thursdays for report writing.
