AWS Data Engineer
Montpelier, VT (Remote)---Locals Only
Long Term Contract
Need Overall 10+Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects is must.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 35 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade data lake solutions on AWS and Azure platform
• Strong proficiency in AWS data services: Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift)
• Experience in building robust, scalable, and efficient ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines.
• Experience designing data models and managing schemas for bronze and silver layers in medallion architecture
• Experience with data quality checks, metadata management, and data lineage tracking.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting data workflows in Azure Data Factory.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, models, and workflows.
• Hands-on experience automating workflows using tools like AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, or Apache Airflow.

Preferred:

• Experience with domain-specific data such as government operations, workforce, business, or health data.
• Experience designing and implementing medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers).
• Prior experience supporting Azure Data Factory data pipelines.
• Familiarity with workflow automation/orchestration tools such as AWS Step Functions or Apache Airflow.
• Proven track record of collaborating with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders on enterprise data initiatives.
• Experience working on public sector or state government IT data projects.
• Annual Cybersecurity and HIPAA training
