Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced CNC Operators to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. This role is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and CNC programs
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ensure parts meet quality specifications and tolerances
- Troubleshoot machine issues and communicate with maintenance or supervisors
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with ISO, quality, and safety standards preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
