Who We Are
We’re all about cutting-edge robotics and packaging tech, and we’re in the middle of a massive 54,000 sq. ft. expansion! Our new space will feature a Customer Experience Center, Robotics Manufacturing, Packaging Equipment Assembly, and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Areas. We need a smart, driven Industrial Engineering Intern to help us optimize the layout and make this space as efficient and ergonomic as possible.
What You’ll Do
You'll be hands-on, working with our engineering and operations teams to design a facility that’s lean, efficient, and built for the future. Your work will directly impact productivity, material flow, and overall efficiency.
???? Design & optimize manufacturing, assembly, and testing areas.
???? Map out material flow from receiving to final assembly.
???? Run time & motion studies to identify bottlenecks and streamline processes.
???? Evaluate ergonomics to make workstations safer and more comfortable.
???? Optimize storage & staging for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
???? Support capacity planning to ensure our facility can handle future growth.
???? Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize waste & boost efficiency.
???? Collaborate on automation & robotics integration into the layout.
???? Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools to draft layouts.
???? Develop SOPs for material handling & workstation setup.
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar).
✔️ Familiarity with facility layout, ergonomics, lean manufacturing & process optimization.
✔️ Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools? (Bonus points, but not required!)
✔️ Analytical thinker who loves problem-solving.
✔️ Team player but also comfortable working solo.
✔️ Strong communicator who can present ideas clearly.
✔️ Experience with material flow, work design, or manufacturing processes? (Awesome, but not a dealbreaker!)
