Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for a maternity leave contract from August through November in a K-12 school setting located in Worcester, MA. This role involves supporting both high school and elementary students, providing therapeutic services to help them reach their communication and functional goals within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary and high school students
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Assess student needs and design intervention strategies that promote communication and motor skill development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Eligibility for Massachusetts OT licensure required
  • Demonstrated passion for supporting students in a school setting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to student-centered care and improving communication abilities
