Job DescriptionSalary: $65,000 minimum DOE
Summary:
Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls auditors and inspectors activities in molding, metals, finishing and incoming inspection by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:
- Plans and directs activities related to incoming inspection and auditing in molding, metals, finishing and Incoming Inspection areas;
- Distributes and retrieves previous revisions of controlled documents from Agile;
- Outlines, develops and implements training procedures of employees in accordance with procedures and standards;
- Assures smooth operation of the inspection areas, maintaining daily records and reports;
- Participates in Material Review Board meetings as required;
- Provides technical leadership for department;
- Ensures all ISO procedures and Work Instructions are followed;
- Ensures proper inspection techniques and tools are used including SPC, as well as other quality systems;
- Maintains constructive working relationship with business units, customers, and internal departments including effective communication;
- Provides data entry of Paretos for metals and finishing departments;
- Performs other related duties as needed or required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required, plus five years related experience and/or training or Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with two years of related experience/training.
