Location: Middlebury, VT 05753
Job Description: At the discretion of the overseeing clinical provider, in combination with the Porter Cardiology Practice Manager, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for the performance of echocardiograms.
-Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with standards established by the American Society of Echocardiography as well as State and Federal agencies.
-Daily technical operation of the laboratory.
-Working with the Medical Director, medical staff and technical staff to ensure quality patient care.
-Perform echo exams on patients as ordered by physicians with first priority given to trauma and critically ill patients.
-Select proper ultrasound techniques to provide optimum quality ultrasounds.
-Position and instruct patients regarding procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-RDCS from ARDMS, CCI OR CRCS by CARDUP is required within one year of hire.
-Ability to work in fast fast-paced environment
-Effective communication and organization skills
Preferred experience: 3 years of Echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred

Relocation Bonus: $5,000 - $7,500 3 years of experience
Job Type: 12 months
Compensation: $71,531 - $107,286 (depending on experience)
