Description:
We re recruiting for a Digital Solutions Engineer to join a forward-thinking IT group driving automation, digital transformation, and AI innovation across a large, complex environment. If you re passionate about building real solutions not just talking about them and you thrive in collaborative, iterative settings, this role is an excellent fit. This is a hands-on technical position supporting the Digital Solutions & Global Client Experience team. You ll partner closely with Digital Solutions Consultants who handle client discovery, while you focus on designing and implementing the technical solution that brings their requirements to life.
What You'll Do
As the team's technical implementation expert, you'll be responsible for:
Process Automation & AI Solutions
- Designing automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, and related tools
- Applying LLMs, AI models, and machine learning components to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency
Collaboration & Productivity Tools
- Configuring Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration platforms
- Developing custom digital productivity solutions tailored to client needs
Integrations & Technical Builds
- Connecting systems via APIs to create seamless cross-platform workflows
- Translating conceptual designs into detailed technical implementation plans
- Providing thorough testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer
AV Solutions
- Supporting technical design and implementation of AV solutions for collaboration spaces
Cross-functional Partnership
- Working with consultants, analysts, and IT teams to deliver stable, scalable solutions
What Makes You a Strong Fit Top Technical Skills
- Deep experience with AI tools, LLMs, and machine learning implementations
- Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- PowerShell scripting for automation
- Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
- API integrations and enterprise systems connectivity
- Experience in higher ed environments is a plus

Role Expectations

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in IT, CS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, Outlook, To Do)
- Strong experience with the Power Suite (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience building and implementing digital solutions
- Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects at once
- Understanding of information security principles
- Experience collaborating with business analysts or functional consultants
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education or similarly complex environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Room Systems or other AV technologies
- API integration experience
- ServiceNow configuration experience
- Agile/Scrum project background
- ITIL v4+ certification
