A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Hudson, MA 01749.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Required schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
- OT may be required
- Must be able to start immediately
- Must pass aseptic technique validation
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
- Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications
- Create TPNs using a Pinnacle compounder (REQUIRED skill)
- Enter prescription data and billing information into the system to support reimbursement processes
- Prepackage medication for dispensing in compliance with standards and governmental regulations
- Assist Pharmacist in final checking processes, including stating medication for review and packaging after approval
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications
- Support inventory management: receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers/expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment; ensure proper equipment calibration and safety standards
- Collaborate with Technician Supervisor and pharmacy leadership to support workflow and operational needs
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License
- Sterile Compounding experience required
- Must be able to create TPNs using a Pinnacle compounder (critical requirement)
- Strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Must be able to start immediately
- Must pass aseptic technique validation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sterile compounding or infusion pharmacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of IV preparation standards and cleanroom operations
