The Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of LED display products through the development, implementation, and oversight of quality control systems. This role works with the production manager and technicians to monitor all stages of production—from incoming components to final assembly—to ensure compliance with internal specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements. The QC Manager plays a key role in continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and maintaining the company’s reputation for high-performance LED display products. The QC manager is responsible for maintaining the ISO9001 program as well as recertification
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce QC processes specific to LED display manufacturing, including testing of PCBs, LED modules, power supplies, and full display assemblies.
- Supervise QC personnel in incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final product testing.
- Implement and maintain quality systems in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific standards.
- Conduct visual, functional, and electrical testing of LED modules, ensuring color consistency, brightness uniformity, pixel accuracy, and connectivity.
- Lead root cause analysis for display failures such as dead pixels, color shifts, flickering, or power issues.
- Define and monitor quality metrics such as defect rates, rework rates, and field failure rates (RMA).
- Work closely with R&D and Engineering to validate new components, materials, and designs from a quality perspective.
- Manage quality-related documentation including inspection records, test reports, deviation reports, and corrective action logs.
- Support the implementation of automated inspection systems and continuous improvement tools.
- Interface with customers on quality-related issues, audits, and reporting.
- Coordinate supplier quality activities and perform supplier audits when necessary.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of quality control experience in electronics or LED display manufacturing
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of LED display components: LEDs, drivers, PCBs, power supplies, and control systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).
- Knowledge of visual inspection criteria specific to LED displays (brightness, color calibration, dead pixels, etc.).
- Experience with quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA.
- Experience with ERP and QMS software systems.

- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
Working Conditions:
- Work will be split between office, lab/testing area, and production floor.
- Occasional travel to suppliers or customer sites may be required.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in manufacturing areas.
