MASSHEALTH APPLICATION SPECIALIST
Essex Group Management, a family-owned and operated business serving the health care needs of seniors for over 50 years, is seeking a full-time MassHealth Application Specialist.
The MassHealth Application Specialist is responsible for managing the MassHealth application process from initiation through approval. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Managing all facility MassHealth eligibility reviews, conversions, and new applications</li>
<li>Consulting with residents and families to gather information throughout the application process and ensure required timelines are met</li>
<li>Monitoring application and appeal deadlines</li>
<li>Preparing for and attending MassHealth appeal hearings</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience with MassHealth applications</li>
<li>Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care programs</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, written communication, computer, and analytical skills</li>
</ul>
Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
