Title: Draw Operator/Surfacing Operator
Location: Southbridge, MA
Position Type: Full-time, direct hire with benefits that start on day #1
Shift: Openings: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday) OR 3rd shift (10pm-6:30 am, Sunday night through Friday morning)

Your Qualifications as a Machine Operator:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.

Your Contribution as a Machine Operator:

• Under close supervision, sets up and operates various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers.
• Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications; refers questionable product to more experienced operators.
• Performs routine machine/equipment maintenance and inspection.
• Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.
• Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.
• Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
• Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.
• Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.
