About the Role
Agile Edge Defense is seeking a Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) to support the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program at Hanscom AFB. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of program baselines, ensuring compliance with DoD data requirements, and enabling secure, resilient network operations that protect the Air Force Information Network (AFIN).
You will work closely with program management, systems engineers, and quality teams in an integrated product team environment, providing hands-on configuration management (CM), data management (DM), and quality assurance support.
Key Responsibilities

Configuration Management:
-
Maintain configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.

Manage and control software, hardware, and IT system baselines.
-
Ensure design traceability and integrity across multiple development cycles.

Boards & Reviews:
-
Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCB), Technical Review Boards, and Data Requirements Review Boards.

Record meeting minutes, track actions, and evaluate proposed changes for operational impact.

Audits & Assessments:
-
Prepare for and support Physical & Functional Configuration Audits (PCA/FCA) and engineering assessments.

Maintain audit documentation and ensure compliance with program standards.

Data & Documentation:

Archive acquisition documentation and maintain automated/paper repositories.

Track, distribute, and monitor CDRL data deliverables for accuracy and timeliness.

Ensure compliance with DoDI 5230.24, DoDD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, and DFARS data clauses.

Quality Control:

Track change requests, discrepancy reports, and licensing tasks.

Perform quality assurance checks on system baselines and release packages.

Reporting & Analysis:

Generate CM reports, status updates, and management briefings.

Recommend improvements to CM/DM processes and workflows.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
Journeyman Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience (3+ years within DoD programs), OR 7+ years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications (5+ years within DoD).
Required Skills:

Proven IT CM experience within a DoD environment.

Knowledge of CM plans, change control processes, and configuration audits.

Experience with CM tools for version control, inventory, and reporting.

Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database tools.
