Job Description
I am seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of my team! I am a solo practitioner who specializes in representing victims of sexual abuse and assault by doctors, priests, teachers, Uber/Lyft drivers. This role requires empathy and advocacy for victim/survivors. Cases are often high-profile.
This is a mostly remote position but in-office (Cambridge) may be expected 1-2 times per week.
Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct research to support legal proceedings</li>
<li>Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents</li>
<li>Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes</li>
<li>Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations</li>
<li>Record and store client information</li>
</ul>

<li>Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field</li>
<li>Familiarity with legal research</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Deadline and detail-oriented</li>
