Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate DON - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Exeter, NH. Key Responsibilities:
\n\n
• Serve as Director of Nursing for skilled nursing facility operations
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for skilled nursing facilities
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Manage nursing department budget and staffing requirements
• Conduct staff evaluations and performance management
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care planning
• Oversee quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Ensure proper documentation and medical record compliance
• Manage infection control protocols and procedures
• Work day shift hours from 07:00 to 15:30
• Maintain current nursing licensure and required certifications
• Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare providers

Job Requirements:

- Active, unencumbered license in NH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
