Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Sr. Applications Engineer to design and implement advanced automation systems for commercial and industrial environments. In this role, you will integrate diverse equipment, sensors, and IT applications, while contributing to data analysis and the creation of graphical dashboards, reports, and workflows. This position is based in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and requires someone who is detail oriented and capable of providing reliable and critical advice to customers while managing multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement large-scale automation systems for commercial buildings and industrial environments.
• Integrate various equipment, sensors, and IT applications into cohesive automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain graphical dashboards, reports, alerts, and workflows to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with customers to provide expert consultation and ensure projects meet specifications and expectations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Assist in the organization and analysis of monitored data to enhance system performance.
• Lead the deployment and optimization of automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Provide training and support to clients on the use of automation software and tools.
• Maintain a high level of integrity and build trust with customers through critical advice and solutions.
• Travel as required (5-15%, including potential international and weekend travel) to support project implementation.• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in deploying building automation or industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency in computer and industrial networking technologies.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S., with the ability to obtain federal security credentials and clearances.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Familiarity with IoT technologies, protocols such as BACnet and Modbus, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Basic programming skills in Python or similar languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, including potential international trips.
