Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Physical Therapist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Quincy, MA. This role involves maternity leave coverage with a caseload that includes non-verbal students and individuals with severe autism. The position runs from February through the end of the school year and requires an active MA Physical Therapist (PT) License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs, including those with severe autism and non-verbal communication.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively regarding student progress and therapeutic needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) License required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those with complex needs such as severe autism and non-verbal communication.
- Ability to work part-time hours, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on specified days.
